App Deep Dive

When you sign up for analytics with GRID or add it to your existing account, we take into account the industry sector you are working in and the size of your business.
Similar businesses is a feature that allows you to compare your business’ banking health and spending history with all other Analytics users. By aggregating and anonymizing the data, we’re able to present the data back to you in a way that helps you understand how your business shapes up against others, and in particular against other businesses in similar sectors to yours!
We assess metrics such as the following.
- Total number of unpaid transactions: the count of the number of unpaid transactions over the last 6 months.
- Balance- Turnover Ratio: the average daily balance over the past 12 months plus your credit limit divided by the calculated turnover over the past 12 months.
- Turnover Stability Ratio: the turnover over the past 12 months divided by the turnover over the previous 12 months. Note: 2 years worth of transactions needed to calculate this.
- Banking Health Score: an aggregation of the above metrics with the following weights- The score assigned to the unpaid transactions counts for 50% of your total score (67% in the case of the absence of the turnover stability score).
Spend Categorisation Comparison
By aggregating your debit transactions over the last 12 months and using the transaction categories that have been assigned by our Open banking partner, we can show you how your spending compares against other businesses. This will allow you to identify categories where your business could reduce spending in to bring you in line with your peers.
Finally, the publication Centre
This table contains a mixture of reports, research papers and ezines that we think you would find beneficial. When we add new publications, you’ll receive an in-app notification
How do I access this feature and others like it?
Do you have analytics on your account. If not and if you are eligible, you will see a link to signup on your finance dashboard.. It doesn’t cost anything to try it, there are no fees for now and we wont change that without letting you know.
If you don’t see that link, and don’t have analytics option in your menu, then probably we are missing some details on your account that are preventing us from enabling that automatically. In that case, you contact us, and we will walk you through any steps required.
You can access these features through either or web dashboard or our mobile apps
